Japanese PlayStation Console - Junk

Junk PS1 - Japanese region console.

Turns on but doesn’t read discs. Needs a spindle hub. I am unsure if it will read discs with one or need further fixing.

Please note there are no returns on junk items. If you are able to fix it, I would love to know what work you did.
